Kerekatte, Kundapur : The Titular patron's feast was celebrated at Kerekatte near Hosangadi on Wednesday, 13th June, 2012. Like every year Mangalore Diocese, Shivamoga Diocese, Karwar Diocese, Chickmaglur and other diocese devotees of St Anthony celebrate the feast at Kerekatte.

Mangalore Bishop Most Rt, Rev Dr. Aloysious Paul D'Souza concelebrated the high solemn mass at 10.30am along with Rev Fr. Xavior Pinto Director of Karekatte Shrine, Very Rev Fr. Anil D'Souza Dean of Kundapur Deanery, Very Rev Fr. Stany B. Lobo Dean of Kallianpur Deanery and other priests.

The message of the feast was "Let us lead our families in Christian faith� ('Amchim Kuttmam Kristi Bhavarthant Rupit Koruyam') . During homily Bishop said that where there is love amongst family, there is God's presence there. Families will have to be nurtured in the love of the Lord, that family should be an object of our love and attention. Moreover he pointed out the love of Jesus and the family.

Earlier the high mass confessions were held at chapel and mass in Kannada was offered at by Rev Fr. Yesukritanandan of Shivmuga Diocese. Large number of devotees of St Anthony celebrated the feast at Kerekatte with utmost devotion.
